I'm a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where I lead the Retail (Americas) investment banking franchise.

For 25 years, I've had the privilege of advising corporate clients across the apparel, footwear, luxury, specialty, and e-commerce verticals on their most significant strategic and financial decisions.

Experience & Approach

I serve as a strategic and financial advisor to iconic consumer brands, working closely with management teams and shareholders on merger and acquisition and capital market transactions. My approach centers on bringing clarity to complex situations and helping clients navigate pivotal moments in their company's journey.

I've served in increasing levels of responsibility at leading financial services organizations including Morgan Stanley, UBS, J.P. Morgan, Bear, Stearns & Co., Gryphon Investors, and Salomon Smith Barney (Citi). This experience across institutions has shaped my understanding of both the technical and human dimensions of high-stakes transactions.

Notable Clients & Transactions

My clients include Abercrombie & Fitch, Birkenstock, Nordstrom, ON Running, Revolve, SKIMS, Tapestry, Tory Burch, and many others. Each partnership represents a unique opportunity to support brands that are shaping the future of consumer retail.

Among the landmark transactions I've led, in 2025, I advised the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Nordstrom, Inc. on its $6.25 billion sale to a consortium led by the Nordstrom family and Liverpool. Transactions of this scale and complexity require not just financial expertise, but deep relationships and trust built over time.

Education

I graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania's Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business. I was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar, and I hold a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in International Studies.

A second generation Indian American, I was born and raised in Central Ohio and graduated from The Columbus Academy where I was elected a member of The Cum Laude Society and recognized as a National Merit Scholar and a National Advanced Placement Scholar.

My academic background, combining business and international studies, shaped the way I think about markets, strategy, and global opportunity. It instilled an appreciation for cross-cultural perspectives and the discipline required to build something meaningful.
