Philanthropy

Rohit’s philanthropic interests focus on expanding access to education and supporting public libraries.

He has served in leadership roles at the New York Public Library, including as Co-Chair of the Young Lions Committee and as a member of the Council of Conservators. He also served on the Board of Advisors of the University of Pennsylvania Libraries.

He endowed the Singh Family Fund at Penn Libraries in support of South Asian Studies. His fund features works from underrepresented voices of the global Indian diaspora.

At the University of Pennsylvania, Rohit was the first alumnus to serve on the advisory board of the Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business. He is the founding Chair of the Huntsman Program Alumni Committee and has endowed a scholarship supporting Huntsman students.

He received the University of Pennsylvania Young Alumni Award of Merit (2017) in recognition of his service.
